2010 Special Olympics Postponed 2010

Posted in : Gossips

(added few years ago!)

The event was scheduled for this Saturday, but Organizer Frank Florig says that the field at Okkodo High School is not ready. He says a new date and possibly a new venue will be announced at a later time. Florig asks all volunteers and supporters to please call your point of contact at your school or organization for further details and new event location. And they "apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and continued support of  Guam Special Olympics events.

Special Olympics Guam (SOG) is a non-profit organization dedicated in providing sporting opportunities for people with intellectual disability and the equality of opportunity for all our athletes regardless of ability or degree of disability since 1976.

SOG is a global movement run entirely by volunteers.  Volunteers who provide the power necessary to ensure every athlete is offered a sports training and competition experience and empower each athlete to be productive citizens.
